Armen started KEA Engineers in March of 1984 and has been the president and managing director of the firm. He is licensed in 25 states nationwide and is still active in overseeing much of the design that is produced by the firm. Presently Armen is devoting more of his time to marketing the firm and to the general administration.

They say there is nothing like seeing for believing.  Many years ago, I saw large aluminum conductors that had all but evaporated in their connections.  It was inside a vary large electrical distribution switchgear, in a building across 1 & 9 from Newark International Airport.  The building was called Hemisphere, and it is reassuring to see the building still standing when I occasionally drive by.  We were investigating the switchgear because the owner, our client, wanted to make some changes to the building and needed more power.

The adage says, “You can’t teach an old dog new tricks.” And it’s true.  However, every old dog was once a young dog and I’m no exception to that.  Though we do get set in our ways as we age, it seems the things we learned when young stay with us for a lifetime.
